Founded by fantasy-loving bookworms, fairy loot is a monthly subscription box that promises to send you “a box of bookish treasure stolen from a fairy’s lair.” Each month, subscribers receive a young adult book and a selection of 4-6 handpicked bookish goodies. They also offer six and twelve month subscriptions as well as single purchase boxes.
Unlike many other subscription services, fairy loot only includes high quality books. The book is usually a new release from a popular author and often comes in an exclusive FairyLoot edition with a gorgeous redesigned cover, digitally sprayed edges, artwork on the endpapers and foil on the hardcover. They have also worked with authors to produce limited edition bookends and signed bookplates for their boxes.
They also include unique fandom items like trinket trays, coffee mugs, tea infusers, magnetic bookmarks and more. The only downside to this is that the box can be very item heavy and if you don’t have a lot of space, it could become overwhelming.
Overall, fairy loot is a great subscription service for book lovers who are into fantasy and science fiction. It’s a fun surprise every month and provides excellent customer service. However, if you aren’t a big fan of these genres or have very little space to store them, you might want to consider a different subscription.
