Shrek 2 Fairy Godmother

Known for her classic song “Holding Out for a Hero” which is covered in Shrek 2, Fairy Godmother is a powerful witch who has been around since the dawn of time. She has a lot of power and uses it for her own gain, but she can also use it against others. This makes her one of the more interesting and threatening main antagonists in the series.

She possesses many spells, including electrokinesis, which she channels through her wand to reverse Happily Ever After potions and spells, causing them to backfire. She also has the ability to levitate and create animation objects through her magic. She also has the ability to transform her appearance as needed. She can change her size, shape and color as well as give herself a makeover to make herself more appealing to ogres.

The Fairy Godmother is also very clever. She can eavesdrop on conversations between other characters, and she knows how to manipulate people into doing what she wants. She is also not above blackmail, and she will use it to her advantage.

The Fairy Godmother’s first appearance in the series was in the original Shrek, where she is voiced by Jennifer Saunders. She is the main antagonist in the movie, and she is a dark parallel to King Harold. She is obsessed with perfection and tradition, and she thinks only princes and princesses can be happy together. The Fairy Godmother is also prejudiced against ogres and goes through devious and sneaky feats to cause them dismay. This makes her a very good villain and she is the perfect foil for Lord Farquaad.

In Shrek 2 the Fairy Godmother is once again played by Jennifer Saunders. She has more screen time in this film, and her role is a bit darker than in the first movie. The Fairy Godmother is a more powerful and dangerous character, and she tries to use her magical powers for her own gain. She can turn herself into any size or shape, and she has a lot of other powers that she utilizes to her advantage.

At the end of the film, she tries to kill Shrek and Fiona with a purple death ray that reflects off of their armor. She also says a final message to Shrek, telling him that “I told you, ogres don’t live happily ever after!”

The Fairy Godmother is killed by the slam of Dragon’s tower door, but she does not die instantly from this. She is the only main antagonist in the series to not be directly killed by Dragon, though she was likely close. This is also true of her son Prince Charming and Rumpelstiltskin.
