Fairy Homes

When one hears the word fairy homes, they tend to think of miniature fairy homes that are sold in catalogs. That’s not all. Realized and talented artists have created homes for these mythical creatures in a wide range of sizes and styles. This is why they are so popular in our market. The good news is, you can own one of them too!

In order to understand the beauty of fairy homes, you must first understand the concept of them. They are houses made with the interior to encourage the flowing movement of air. For this reason, they are called “airs” or “spaces” since they are designed to allow natural ventilation so they are more comfortable than their land-based counterparts – and quite often, they incorporate an artistic side as well.

These beautiful fairy homes can be seen in everything from flower fairies to flower fairy figurines, to garden fairy figurines to gardening fairy figurines – yes, there are almost as many fairy garden items made into homes as there are fairy figurines! And, like flower fairies, they come in a wide variety of styles, shapes and sizes. This means you can easily find one to fit in with the style of your home and the way it is laid out. For instance, tea tables often feature fairy figurines as do nightstands, and the way the furniture of fairy homes is designed allows room to move around without much difficulty.

Some fairy homes have what is called a “fairy door” where a child can enter through a tiny, fairy-like door that is decorated like a door, and yet not noticeable to other people. These garden Fairy Door entrances make wonderful entryways for young children. However, they also fit perfectly into the garden itself, creating a magical area where you and your children can enjoy each others company, talk, play, laugh and enjoy the beauty of nature without any of the stress of trying to keep it all clean. All of which makes a fairy door garden ideal for families who live in an area where allergies are common or who simply want to make an area where they can allow nature to flow naturally and without having to worry about smelly, moldy damp rooms!

Another popular type of fairy home is one that incorporates the appearance of a traditional fairy home but adds a twist by being constructed in the style of a modern home. Many fairy homes are actually very “fairy-like” in their design and features a combination of wood and metal, or glass and metal, for its roof. Some feature a large balcony that overlooks the front yard, while others feature stairs leading down to the front door. A popular type of fairy home that combines these two styles is a studio style house designed as if it were built in the style of a ranch house – complete with a spacious entryway and a kitchen and dining room on the lower level. The architecture of such a home might look somewhat surprising to someone who has never seen a contemporary style home with a traditional design; however, it is really just a matter of adding certain elements of fantasy to an architectural style that already exists.

In general, fairy houses come in two styles: those that feature actual doors and those that don’t. The most conventional among these houses is the one in which all of the rooms have doors leading directly into the living room, which can either be drawers or windows; while other fairy houses do not have any doors. The doors that many fairies favor are usually smaller than the windows, and may have small “grassy” appearance. However, some fairy houses do include doors with actual glass panels (which, as we mentioned above, are very “fairy-like” in their appearance), so they can appear to be rooms in their own right.
