Fairies for The Sims 4

Fairies are whimsical creatures that leave a trail of glitter wherever they go. They enjoy playing pranks on Sims, but they can also be a good influence for those around them. They’re also able to repress their magic and appear as any other human, so they can blend in with the world around them.

EA may not have added a fairy-themed expansion pack for The Sims 4, but one creative modder decided to give players the ability to turn their normal Sims into fluttering fairies! They can do this by selecting the Fairy Trait in Create a Sim. The Fairy Trait comes with benefits such as leveling up the Mischief Skill much faster, a positive impact on surrounding Sims, and the ability to fly.

The mod also includes a Fairy Object that can be placed in the game, similar to the witch altar that can be placed in buy mode. It will provide nearby plants with extra health and nutrients, as well as inspire Sims to utilize their green thumb skills. It also comes with a Fairy Queen Mara NPC who will visit households and perform tasks like fishing an hour, grafting a plant, harvesting a plant, spraying a plant for bugs, and even talking to a plant.

As with all other supernatural life state additions, fairies have a hidden Fairy Magic skill that they can level up to unlock new abilities. They gain experience when they use their special powers, but they can also level up by using certain objects or engaging in social interactions with other Fairies.

There are five different Fairy Forms, each with their own unique aura and color. Fairies can change their forms by using the wand in their hand, and they can also cast spells while in their natural form to add some flair to their outfits. They can even prank other Sims by circleing their heads or blowing bubbles.

Like witches, fairies have ranks that they progress through. They can also learn new magic spells as they rank up by interacting with other fairy NPCs, or by completing the magical quests provided by the Fairy Queen.

Fairies and witches can draw magic from a variety of sources including nature (plants), music, electricity, water, ice, darkness, or the moon. This will influence the success rate, strength, or outcome of the spells they cast.

Unlike most other magical beings, fairies and witches can befriend non-Sims. They can interact with them by talking to them and asking for a special blessing. This can allow them to float above the ground, move much faster than a normal Sim, and spawn magical flowers.

Fairies can be played as adults or teens, and they can have children who will automatically transform into a fairy when they reach the age of teen. Their children will then be able to become a full fairy or witch when they read their special books. This will improve their magic skill gains, and they’ll be able to learn any of the available spells when right-clicking on the fairy statue or witch altar.
